Join Me in the Fight Against Neurofibromatosis!
I’m running 10km in the CONQUER NF IN COLOUR event in Melbourne on Sunday, November 17, to raise awareness for neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic condition that affects many members of my family and myself. While I’ve been fortunate to experience only mild symptoms, many of my loved ones have faced more severe challenges. I’m running for them, and for the countless others impacted by this genetic condition.

Every three days, a child is born with NF in Australia. This lifelong condition is progressive and unpredictable that can lead to tumors that can cause physical differences, vision and hearing impairments, learning difficulties, chronic pain, and even cancer. There’s currently no cure, and treatment options are limited.

I aim to raise $500 for the Children’s Tumour Foundation (CTF), the only advocacy and support service in Australia dedicated to those living with NF. Their mission is to provide essential resources and support to individuals and families, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the information they need.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help me reach my goal. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by neurofibromatosis. Let’s show our support and #CONQUERNF!

Little 4km jog/walk today! Bit of a slower one today but we decided to ease back into it after our busy week on camp last week (30km mountain bike ride, 17km hike and 7km kayak! 💪). Not long left!!

Our first attempt to add a bit of a jog into the mix! So proud of us. We managed to jog 5km and walk 5km (alternating). Baby steps but progress! Thank you Hannah for joining me on the journey! Thankfully no duck attacks today.

Roped Hannah in this morning to join me for this event. By late morning we were walking the lake together to start our preparation! Moments after taking our snap to start our journey I got bitten by a duck 😂. Walked a lap of the lake, stoped for a lunch refuel and then walked another lap of the lake! 🙌🏻
