There will be change tents and toilets on site to change into your shirts, but please arrive early to allow yourself time to get organised. There is a bag tent available if you have gear that you do not want to take on the run.
Getting There
The event is being held at Wentworth Park in Glebe.
The main entrance to the event is on Wattle Street, Glebe, opposite Ultimo Trade Centre Building (42 Wattle Street, Ultimo NSW 2007).
There are several options for public transport, including:
Central train station is approximately 2km from the venue and a 25min walk.
Wentworth Park light rail station is approximately 300m away, and is a short 4 min walk.
A water taxi/ferry dock is located at the Fish Markets opposite the venue.
If you are driving, there is plenty of free street parking around the area, but with hundreds of people joining us on the day, it is best to arrive early. There is no parking on site.
The venue carpark is closed from 730am - 12pm to ensure the safety of our participants.
Official Proceedings
Our MC Pete Deppeler will be kicking off the official proceedings at 830am.
This is your official event briefing so you know where to run and what to expect from the day.
Start time:
The race will commence at 9:30am (please arrive well ahead of this time) unless otherwise advised in the lead up to the event.
Race route:
Starting on the oval in a cloud of colour, you will head out for a loop of the park before returning to the venue where you will turn left onto the oval and run a gauntlet of blue and green coloured powder (that’s the name of the game after all).
All obstacles around the course are optional and each loop is approximately 2km.
So if you are doing 4km or 10km, you will repeat accordingly.
Post-Run fun in the NF Village
Once you cross the finish line you can relax, refuel and relive the fun with friends in the NF Village. You can enjoy LIVE MUSIC fuel up with food and drink from our food trucks, go in the raffle to win some great prizes, or try your luck spinning our NF "Spin and Win" wheel!
We will also be announcing our top fundraisers on the day, as well as drawing the raffle so make sure you plan to stick around after the race!
What to Bring
The event is messy! So if you have not purchased a running shirt, wear a plain white one on the day or you can purchase one when you arrive. It's also a good idea to bring a packet of wet wipes or a towel for the car ride home.
We strongly suggest a biodegradable option such as Huggies Bio or Tooshies, but we will have some on hand too should you need them.
Wear a pair of shoes that are comfortable to run in, but might need to be washed after the event. You'll receive your white t-shirt on the day, but consider what you'll wear on your bottom half.
Our non-toxic powder does wash out, but we can't guarantee any whites or lighter coloured clothes will come up as good as new after the event!
We will have plenty of food and drink available on the day with coffee van, ice-cream and hot food truck on hand - but it's a good idea to bring your own water as well.
We will have a secure bag drop so bring a bag if you like - a bum-bag is also a great option if you want to keep your phone on you around the course.
lET'S GET ready to conquer NF in colour!
